How to assign a technician to customers

In Digital Service Manager, you can specifically control which customers a technician has access to. This is managed via the user administration and assignment to certain groups.


Solution steps:

  1. Log in to Digital Service Manager as a Service Admin.
  2. Click on the gear icon (“Settings”) to open the settings.
  3. Select the “Users” menu item.
  4. Find the desired technician in the list.
  5. Click on the three dots next to the username and select “Shared groups.”
  6. An overview of all customers (groups) the user has access to will open.
  7. To grant or remove access, activate or deactivate the checkboxes next to the respective customers (groups).
  8. Click on “Update info” to save all changes.
